| FSOPC employs Family Support Partners (who are caregivers/parents of children emotionally or behaviorally challenged) who offer assistance and support to families enrolled with Circle of Care (Passaic County's Care Management Organization). |

| FSOPC provides forums, workshops, guest speakers and other special events that inform and empower families about their role in the parent/professional partnership |

Community Development

| FSOPC develops and maintains its presence with our local legislators, schools, and businesses to gain their support, to provide information, and to recruit volunteers and donations for the family and children with emotional & behavioral challenges. |

Warm Line

| The FSOPC offers telephone support to family members, and caregivers. We listen and offer advice, information, support, and referrals. |

|
Youth Partnership
|
 |
| The FSOPC works directly with youth ages 14-21 who have been involved with the mental health, juvenile justice, or child welfare system. Youth Partnership provides a forum to share their experiences. The Youth Partnership members are committed to making a difference through community service. |

Support Groups

| The FSOPC hosts a support group for families and caregivers the second and fourth Wednesday evenings of each month from 6.30 pm until 8.30 pm. Support groups are also held in West Milford once a month. Call for details. Onsite child care provided. |

System Monitoring

| The FSOPC holds systems accountable through feedback on family issues, concerns, and suggestions. |

FSO/CMO Strategic Planning

| FSOPC and Circle of Care (Care Management Organization), Youth Case Management and the Children’s Mobile Response Stabilization System maintain a close relationship and meet frequently to discuss strategies and share information so that system partners continue to provide excellent service to our families. |
